About me

I have been a full time professional storyteller for over 10 years and have been involved in public speaking and the entertainment industry for all my life.
I have performed in film, television and theatre from a very young age, before travelling extensively. Highlights being hitchhiking the circumference of the United States at the age of 17 and driving from the UK to South Africa down the “less traveled” West Coast of Africa.
I have a degree in Zoology and a huge passion and knowledge of wildlife. I am a qualified Secondary School and College Science teacher (PGCE) and Early Years practitioner (EYPS). I have also carried qualifications in life guarding, surfing, mountain boarding, archery and kayaking; having run classes for both adults, children and even members of the Royal Family.
I have worked internationally within a variety of different roles, including: surf tours, wildlife excursions – as a tour guide, and with international theatre companies. I was a part of a touring theatre company who became one of the first companies ever to perform in Saudi Arabia.
I have told stories over the years to hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life, even to celebrities and other members of the Royal Family. I have told stories on live radio and for the BBC World Service. I have written, created and performed in over 30 plays, recorded radio jingles and featured in film and television.
I own a design studio, where I create my own puppets, props, sets, acts and theatre pieces which have been performed and used at a multitude of sights and venues, from school halls, local events and festivals – including Glastonbury!
I have featured in the media and press many times, including television, radio and tabloids.
My education talks have led to new companies starting up as a direct result of inspiration from our discussions.
